I had been practicing law for several years now and I can say that in all these years I already had done countless reports and briefs. I know I am good when it comes to the English language, either written or oral. But when one time I overheard one of the secretaries in our firm about the errors usually done by some of my colleagues, it made me paused and think back. Had I been careless with my grammar and vocabularies? I know that sometimes I don’t pay so much attention with my proof readings and to be discussed in such a manner by other people is something that is very disconcerting. So I tried to find ways to improve myself. After all, there is only myself who will benefit if I can have the best of myself. And I promised myself that I will try my best to improve my English skills. I accept that I might be good but I can be better and there is only myself who will benefit it when I improve. This year I want to start a food and restaurant business.  This has been my planned in the last 3 years.  That is why I have decided to take an interior designing course because I want to improve the interior design of my future restaurant.  I want to design it personally that is why I choose to study interior designing.  They say that interior designing is just for girls, but I don’t agree on that.  I believe that everybody has the talent to design what they like given the opportunities and proper training.

I have finalized already my plans for my food and restaurant business that includes the floating pond fountain I will put as a decoration and further improved its appearance.  And I might start processing the papers for building permit next week.  I am just waiting for the engineers that I’ve hired to submit the building proposals.  I will choose between their designs and layout.  I’m waiting for the blueprint and will decide from there.  Not sure if they can meet my deadline.  Hopefully they will meet my deadline and I want to start this asap.

I have this friend who has so fanatic to watching or attending trade show exhibits and he even got to the city just to attend the most awaited car show which is sponsored by Ferrari. He had even had the giveaways that the organizers give at the entrance. There a certain part of the trade shows that has perfect arrangements on their table skirt on each table. They have used banner stands that are composed of pipe and drape.

He felt so excited when I met him while he was stating what he saw in the car show. I never was so excited that way because he said that all the cars on the said car show have their own versions of sound system inside. And because I am a sound system fanatic, I envy my friend who had visited the car show…

Nowadays, watching baseball games has become a favorite of mine.  I always see to it that I never had skipped any games of my favorite teams in Major League.  I also make sure that I have the front row tickets so that I could have a better glimpse of the players too.  Furthermore, they give some souvenir items whenever they win the championship that is why many fans and crowds made their way to the front. These are the most things given on the entrance of their home stadium when audience enters.

I have worked for a big computer company as a manager.  And being in this position is not that easy because of the so many responsibilities you needed to attend and pay much attention.  I have to make sure that the orders of the clients were delivered as to quantity, quality and description and at the time requested by the client.  One time, a client got angry because the items she ordered that supposedly delivered before lunch has not yet arrived.  She told me that the items were badly needed that time.  She became more hysterical upon knowing that I can’t trace the location of our delivery truck.  That was really a bad day because the clients canceled the order and pull-out our company in their list of suppliers.

To avoid this situation happen again, I suggest to our boss that we should have GPS tracking device on the entire delivery vehicle of the company.  GPS tracking will be a great help for us because it enables us to locate the exact location of the delivery.  In addition, we can also get the exact time they would be able to deliver the orders on each customer.   Our boss finally agreed on my proposal to install GPS tracking device on each company vehicle to avoid committing another mistake that resulted to a big loss of the company.
